Who is Topher Hale?
I'm a philosopher wannabe. I see contradictions in our society that should explored and I try to do that with my YouTube channel, essays and commentary. I'll be pointing out what should be an obvious contradiction or ridiculous statements circulating in America today.
I'm a husband of 41 years, a father, and grandfather. I worked in military healthcare for 20+ years. I then worked in Tucson City Court for 17 years and have now retired. Confusing Contradictions is one of my hobbies.
Believe in America
I believe in America; I spent most of my life defending and serving America. Today, I find myself in an America I can barely recognize. It's time that moderate, middle-class people start speaking up and push back on the nonsense we are being asked to accept in the name of political correctness and groupthink. I want to give a voice to moderate, middle-class thinking, which has been silent and absent for so long.
Professional Life
I'm a military retiree who served in two services, first as a Navy corpsman, and then as an Army Medical Service Corps officer. After military retirement I worked in the Tucson City Court for 17 years and learned a great deal about the criminal justice system. I tried running for congress as an independent but did not get the required petition signatures. I'm now completely retired and volunteer with Better Bucks of Sierra Vista, and soon the Better Work - a program of Better Bucks Sierra Vista.
Personal Life
I'm a husband of 44 years, father of two daughters and a son, and grandfather of two. Like many, our retirement plans were interrupted by the COVID pandemic.
For the majority of my life I've had careers where I was required to keep my opinions to myself. Military and court employees are held to a high standard and expressing political views was not appreciated. I guess that's why I have this need/want/desire to express my view on many confusing contradictions. I can now do so freely.
